Weekly Reminders

Two exciting "activities" on the horizon for the team this week:

• Team pictures will be taken at the start of practice this Wednesday, December 12. Please come dressed in your uniform.
• Our first league meet will be this Saturday at RIT. The meet is scheduled to run from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. The team bus will be departing Athena at 8:45 a.m. sharp! There is a small charge for spectators and parking is usually at a premium, so be sure to let your parents know. The coaches look forward to having the opportunity to touch base with them during the meet.
• GIRLS: Events for this week's meet were reviewed and uniforms distributed at the team meeting prior to practice today. If you were not present (and thankfully this only applies to two student-athletes) see Coach Scott before Wednesday so that you can dress for the team picture.
• As we become more refined and focused in our individual training, it will be helpful for everyone to buy an inexpensive wristwatch (not iPhone!) to bring to practice. This will allow each of you to track your paces when running workouts.

Remember, no crazy pre-meet parties if you please, a post-meet celebration is all good though! :)
